Alvera Morrison Henley Frauenheim

    Alvera Frauenheim passed away on January 21, 2016, at the age of 94.  She was a member of the U.S. Merchant Marines during World War II.  It was in her home in 1980 that the decision was made to establish SAMS.  She and her son Hal Morrison, SAMS National Counselor, were founding members of SAMS.  She was a member of Post 1775.  She will be greatly missed.
